Model translations
Globalize2 will implement model translations in a slick and unobtrusive way.
Also there’s a snippet on Gist by Karmi for how to easily do model translations with Gibberish. This could be adopted, too.
translatable_columns is a plugin which works backend independent, and integrates nicely with I18n.
